The Registre National des Entreprises (RNE) — or National Business Register of Tunisia — is the official government body responsible for registering, managing, and publishing legal and financial information on all businesses operating in Tunisia.
Established in 1890, and operating as an autonomous public agency under Law No. 2018-52 of 29 October 2018, the RNE centralises all business-related registrations in Tunisia, including companies, merchants, liberal professions, craftsmen, and associations.
The RNE plays a crucial role in enhancing transparency and providing legal certainty. It supports national efforts to combat money laundering, terrorism financing, and tax fraud, while ensuring reliable access to business information for all stakeholders.
